Product Description
To effectively manage the storage demands of growing amounts of data, RS540-E9-RS36-E features a double-sided storage placement design with support for up to 24 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch drives in the front and 12 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch drives in the back, making it an adaptable architecture for diverse workloads. Two optional 2.5-inch SSDs enable in-server hybrid storage configurations, and two optional M.2 SSDs provide up to 2TB of additional OS storage.
RS540-E9-RS36-E is built upon a scalable system architecture and offers flexibility to meet performance demands.
- ASUS PIKE II 3000 cards: The latest SAS 12Gb/s solution for storage and integrated RAID data protection
- Flexible I/O upgrade kit for high-performance 10Gb/s connectivity with networking PCI-E and OCP Mezzanine cards
Rack-optimized design for cooling efficiency
The rack-optimized RS540-E9-RS36-E supports 1+1 redundant 800W 80 Plus Platinum power supplies, which are 94% efficiency for AC to DC conversion, and allows your server to keep working even if one power supply requires maintenance, enabling uninterrupted operation.
ASUS servers feature exclusive Performance Boost technology to achieve the best server performance and agility by tuning servers to match the requirements of workloads, letting you gain greater control of your server environment. This technology improves workload throughput by maximizing processor frequency and boost power, ideal for time-sensitive applications such as financial services or data center operations. In the BIOS you can choose from pre-configured server profiles optimized for specific workloads, maximizing overall performance and reducing server-configuration time.
